Chatham Couple to Co-Chair St. Peter's Prep Gala

Paula and Anthony Venditti's son Luke is currently a senior at St. Peter's.

Two Chatham residents have been selected to serve as co-chairs of the 144 Grand Gala for St. Peter's Prep in Jersey City.

Paula and Anthony Venditti, parents of St. Peter's student Luke Venditti, are serving as co-chairs along with three other couples to ensure the gala's success.

The gala is the fifth annual dinner, dance and auction to support St. Peter's Financial Assistance program and is the school's largest fundraiser of the year.

The co-chairs work with the school's advancement staff to plan and operate the gala. Their roles include soliciting donations and prizes for the live and silent auctions and choosing the food and entertainment.

Over 400 guests are expected to attend the event at the Westin Jersey City Newport on April 21. The event begins at 6 p.m. The RSVP deadline is March 30. Basic tickets are available for $150.

St. Peter's Prep is a Jesuit school for boys located in Jersey City founded in 1872. It is the state's only Jesuit high school. The 144 Grand Gala helps to make school enrollment a reality for qualified students, regardless of their financial situation.
