Chatham High School Goes All-Remote After Coronavirus Case

Chatham High School will shift to all-remote learning for the remainder of the week after a positive coronavirus test

CHATHAM, NJ—School District of the Chathams Superintendent Michael LaSusa announced early this morning that Chatham High School will shift to online learning for the remainder of this week after a positive coronavirus test.

"I was notified of our first case of COVID-19 for a student who attended school this week," a statement by LaSusa read, "This case may be linked to a non-school event that took place over the holiday weekend."

LaSusa said that he would be in contact with state health officials on Thursday but, based on New Jersey Department of Health recommendations, he was shifting Chatham High School to its Plan C remote learning model for the remainder of the week.
