CHATHAM, NJ — There’s time to help out in the community by donating to Chatham Borough Police’s “Faith and Blue” non-perishable food and personal care item drive, which begins on Friday.

The police department is collecting the items through Oct. 11, as part of the Faith and Blue initiative, teaming up with faith-based organizations to “build relationships with the community and to break down biases.”

Faith and Blue “re-calibrates police-community relations,” with in-person, socially-distanced and virtual activities among residents, community groups and police departments.
