Chatham’s 9/11 Remembrance To Stop At 3 Memorial Sites
The three-part event is open to residents of both the borough and township this coming Saturday.
CHATHAM, NJ — Chatham Borough and Township residents are invited to a three-part remembrance on Saturday, to mark the 20th Anniversary of the Sept. 11th terrorist attacks.
Beginning on the south side of Chatham Train Station by the New York-bound track at 6:45 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 11., the first leg of the remembrance journey is planned to begin with a walking procession from that spot, according to a news release from Chatham Borough.
It was at this very site where a tree was planted and plaque dedicated, that 13 Chatham residents left for the day, never returning home because of the attacks.
