Chatham Township School Hosting Second Annual Spelling Bee

Washington Avenue School will host its second spelling bee at Chatham Middle School.

Editor’s Note: Changes were made regarding the master of ceremonies and location of this upcoming spelling bee. The original said Principal Mary Quigley would be master of ceremonies, however, it was brought to Patch’s attention that school librarian Mary Szoke will be master of ceremonies. Additionally, it was written that the school was in Chatham Township. This is now Chatham Borough. These changes have been reflected in the updated article.

Washington Avenue School in Chatham Borough will be hosting its second annual spelling bee on Friday, March 27.

The spelling bee will take place at the Chatham Middle School auditorium, 480 Main St. in Chatham Township, and has a staggered event time schedule. Students in first through third grades will participate in the bee.
