Chatham Woman Charged With Drunken Driving in Head-On Crash

A Chatham woman has been charged with DWI and other offenses for a head-on crash earlier this month on River Road.

Marcia Salazar-Cerdas, 22, has been charged with DWI, careless driving and failure to maintain lane for the March 2 accident that injured three people.

According to police, Salazar-Cerdas, 22, of Chatham Borough, was traveling eastbound on River Road, crossed the center lines and struck a vehicle heading westbound.

Salazar-Cerdas is scheduled to appear in court later this month.
