Grab Christmas Trees And Tacos In Chatham Starting Friday
Chatham Township Fire Department's Christmas Tree sale begins at noon on Black Friday, with Rev Taco onsite for hungry shoppers.
CHATHAM, NJ — Chatham Township Fire Department’s annual Christmas Tree sale kicks off this Friday at fire headquarters, with a new addition this year.
For the first time, Rev Taco will be on the scene handing out free hot chocolate and dishing out food items for hungry shoppers to buy, during the weekend sale times.

The sale hours this year at fire headquarters on 495 River Road will be Monday through Friday, 6 to 9 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m to 8 p.m.
A tradition for over four decades in Chatham Township, the fire department sale boasts over 700 trees, plus garlands and decorated or undecorated wreaths.

“Christmas trees are generally in short supply this year, so we encourage folks to come early for the best selection,” said Richard Gentles, Chatham Township Fire Department President.
“It’s [the tree sale] a great way to support your first responders and celebrate the holidays,” he added.
Tree shoppers can pay by cash, check or credit card,” said Gentles.
Rev Taco is planning to be onsite each weekend that the sale lasts, with tacos, empanadas, quesadillas, fries and other fare. For a preview of their menu, visit www.eatrevtaco.com.
