How Much Snow Fell In Chatham?

Morris County had one of the highest recorded amounts of snow in New Jersey from Monday night into Tuesday. How much did Chatham get?

CHATHAM, NJ — Although the late-February storm didn't dump as much snow as the kids had hoped, it was still enough to cover the area, leading to delays and closings at nearby schools.

But how much snow did we get? The National Weather Service reports Chatham recorded 2.5 inches.

The National Weather Service and volunteer weather spotters report snowfall across the state whenever a measurable amount falls.

With 6.0 inches, Kinnelon had the highest snowfall in Morris County, followed by Brookside with 5.8 inches. In New Jersey, Wantage and Montague in Sussex County had the highest amount, measuring 6.4 inches.
