Major Paving Project Comes to Chatham For Rest of Week

A major milling and paving project is set to begin Tuesday in Chatham Borough, and officials are asking residents to plan alternate routes.

A portion of Fairmount Avenue between Watchung Avenue and Southern Boulevard will be milled and paved from Tuesday, Sept. 22 to Friday, Sept. 25.

Work will be done from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and officials are asking motorists to plan alternate routes to avoid delays.
