A new, Morris County red, white and blue Ballot Drop Box, has been placed in front of Borough Hall, near the driveway.

CHATHAM, NJ — To make voting easier and more convenient for residents in Chatham and throughout Morris County, a new Morris County Election Drop Box has been placed in front of Borough Hall, at 54 Fairmount Avenue.

The red, white and blue ballot boxes countywide are located in places where there is 24/7 surveillance and drop off, with representatives from the County of Morris picking up ballots daily and securely to bring them to Morris County’s Board of Elections office. Any voter from Morris County can drop their ballot within any box in the county.

Borough Clerk Tamar Lawful stated in a news release about Chatham Borough’s drop box, near Borough Hall’s driveway, “Residents who are concerned about the postal system or about the security of their ballots can feel confident about this option.”
