Pfizer 5K Run to Benefit Project Community Pride
Charity race event at Giralda Farms May 25.

The Pfizer 5k Run With Pride benefitting Project Community Pride will be held May 25 at 6:30 p.m. at , rain or shine.
is a 36-year-old agency staffed by licensed therapists who offer clinical services to families from Madison, , Florham Park and the .
Project Pride serves about 50 families a month through individual and group therapy, receiving referrals from the towns' police departments and school districts, plus an increasing number of self-referrals, according to an event program.

The event, sanctioned by USA Track & Field, will hand out awards for the first three overall male and female finishers; first three male and female 14 & under, and for age groups from 15 to 80 and older. There are also corporate team awards: male, female and co-ed. There is no additional charge for team entries.

Entry Fee: Pre-registration: $15, post-registration: $20. (Postmarked after May 20, 2011). USATF Members receive a $2 discount pre-entry only. Make checks payable to: Project Community Pride. All pre-entered runners will receive t-shirts and an assortment of Pfizer items. Water and port-a-johns will be available at check-in. No lockerrooms or indoor restrooms will be available. Computer scoring and postcard results will be sent out after the race. Food and drink will be available after the race. Strollers, dogs, inline skates, scooters and bicycles are not permitted.
Packet pick-up May 23 and 24 from 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. and May 25 from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. at The Sneaker Factory, 308 Millburn Ave., Millburn. Packets can also be picked up at race registration starting at 5 p.m. at Pfizer.
Check-in for the race is 5 - 6 p.m., enter Dodge Drive off Rt. 124 in Madison.
