Softball, Baseball Teams Gather to Fight Cancer

The teams host a small tournament to raise money for Susan G. Komen.

Dear Editor,

One of the reasons we all love living in Chatham is the sense of community and the camaraderie of neighbor helping neighbor. This coming Saturday brings us another opportunity to work together for a greater cause.

The Chatham High Cougar Baseball and Softball teams are hosting a small tournament in hopes of raising funds and awareness for Breast Cancer. This is the second annual Chatham Invitational Tournament and hopes are that it grows each year.

Saturday, April 14 at 1 p.m. is the first game. Softball plays at and baseball plays at .

Come on out and support the teams and this worthy cause. Food and drinks will be available for purchase. All proceeds will be donated to Susan G. Komen.
