St. Patrick School Raises Money for Cancer Research
The Chatham school raised thousands of dollars for the St. Baldrick Foundation.

The St. Patrick School has raised $70,000 for the St. Baldrick Foundation, an organization which funds research into treatments for childhood cancers.
In addition to raising money, 34 students and three fathers from St. Patrick School, located at 45 Chatham St., shaved their heads in support of children battling cancer worldwide.
Those who shaved their heads did so for numerous reasons. According to a release from St. Patrick School, seventh grader student Will Nash shaved his head in honor of his four year old cousin Jesse, who is battling Neuroblastoma and undergoing chemotherapy, while awaiting a life-saving stem cell transplant.
