According to the Great Swamp Watershed Association, for the past three years, the town-wide sales draw visitors from New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania.

More than 100 Chatham and Madison residents participated in the town-wide yard sale last spring, raising more than $1,000 for the Great Swamp Watershed Association.

“For those keeping score—and we are—the past three Town-Wide Yard Sales have raised over $3000 for our environmental work,” said Valerie Thorpe, Director of Communications and Membership at GSWA.
