Traffic Safety Officer Robert Sweetin of the Chatham Borough Police has made accommodations for those with parking permits to park elsewhere, and to keep the area safe throughout filming.

By ordinance, the borough charges a cash bond of $500 per day or a maintenance bond of $1,000 whenever filming is done in town. Students who film movies in town pay $25, with written certification from a teacher or school administrator that the film will not be used commercially.

In addition to paying the filming and parking fees, DeNave said, "they will be making a $1,000 donation to the Public Arts Council, which will sure go a long way in ."

Such donations, Borough Mayor Bruce Harris said, "are customary in these kinds of situations."
