VIDEO: Chatham Softball Falls in Sectional Final

Despite strong plays from hitters and fielders, including power pitcher Amanda Fazio, the softball team couldn't manage to break free of the 3-3 tie against Warren Hills during the state tournament game Friday.

Warren Hills, however, managed three home runs after the Cougars tied up the game, and walked away from with a 6-3 victory in nine innings to capture the North Jersey Section 2, Group 3 title.

Play was halted in the fifth inning when one of player from Warren Hills was seriously injured. The transported the athlete off the field for further treatment.
