Learn About Pollinator Plants In Webinars From Morris County Great Swamp Watershed Assoc.

CHATHAM, NJ — Though there’s snow on the ground, the Great Swamp Watershed Association is already thinking spring.

The advocacy group that strives to protect the health of the Passaic River - along with Becky Laboy from the Ocean County Soil Conservation District - is hosting a three-part, free Zoom webinar series that kicks off on Jan. 25 from 7 to 8 p.m., on how to build a “Jersey-Friendly Yard.”

People who register for the Zoom webinar are eligible to also buy a Great Swamp Watershed Association Family Membership for $40, which entitles them to attend most hikes and information sessions hosted by the association at no extra cost.

As part of the series, there's a second webinar coming up on Feb. 22 from 7 to 8 p.m. about pollinator insects. The third webinar is on April 1 from noon to 1 p.m., which previews the offerings for the group’s native plant sale, which is planned online between April 1 and 22.
