Winning Jersey Cash 5 Ticket Sold At Chatham Kings Food Market

CHATHAM, NJ — Two Jersey Cash 5 lottery winners are each $50,000 richer thanks to one of the two tickets they purchased for this past Thursday’s drawing, one of them from Chatham’s Kings Food Market.

Each of the ticket holders with the winning numbers 18, 23, 25, 26, 29 and XTRA number 03, are slated to split the $100,000 jackpot from the Aug. 12 lotto draw.

Kings Food Market # 3615 was the site where one of the tickets was purchased, while another with the same number combination was bought at Krauszer’s on 73 Belleville Avenue in Bloomfield, according to the New Jersey Lottery.

Both the Chatham Kings location and the Bloomfield Krauzer’s where the tickets were purchased are expected to each receive bonus checks of $2,000 each from the New Jersey Lottery.

How To Claim The Prize

Since the prize exceeds $599.50, the winning ticket holders will need to file a claim for their money with a form from the New Jersey Lottery, available from any New Jersey Lottery retailer or from New Jersey Lottery’s website here. The winner should also first sign the back of their ticket. Click the video below for more information about redeeming a winning ticket.

Though winners can remain anonymous, they must still present identification to the New Jersey Lottery to claim their prize, which is reported to the IRS. Once the New Jersey Lottery receives the claim form, they say it is typically processed within six weeks.

There are two significant jackpot drawings coming up, the first on Tuesday night, Aug. 17 for the Mega Millions, which is now at $242,000,000.

The second large drawing is on Wednesday, Aug. 18 for the Powerball with a jackpot of $274,000,000.
