Winning Lottery Ticket Sold In Chatham

A winning ticket for the Jersey Cash 5 game, drawn over the weekend on September 3, was purchased recently at a liquor store in Morris County. According to officials at NJ Lottery, that ticket matched all five numbers for the Cash 5 game.

“We are pleased that the winning jackpot ticket was sold at Chatham Wine & Liquor,” said Executive Director Carole Hedinger. “For selling this ticket, the retailer will receive a bonus check for $2,000. Overnight,it has become one more ‘lucky location’ for the very fortunate lottery winner.”

Hedinger said the top prizewinning ticket sold at Chatham Wine & Liquor on Shunpike Road was the only one sold for Saturday’s drawing that matched all five numbers drawn. The winning numbers were: 07, 09, 16, 17 and 21.
Other winners include 3,290 players who won $63,404 in cash prizes in the same drawing. For correctly picking four numbers, 82 players won cash prizes of $382 each, and for correctly matching three numbers, 3,208 players won $10.00 each.
