Two Camden County natives have a shot at winning the World Series.
Davis Schneider and Joey Loperfido are both on the Toronto Blue Jays, who will compete against the Los Angeles Dodgers for the title.
Schneider was born in Berlin and attended Eastern Regional High School in Voorhees. He recorded an on-base percentage of .361 with 11 home runs and 31 RBIs this season — his third in the majors.

Loperfido, who grew up in Haddonfield, hit .333 with four home runs and 14 RBIs with the Blue Jays this season. He was added to the postseason roster midway through American League Championship Series to replace Anthony Santander, who was injured.
Game 1 of the best-of-seven World Series begins at 8 p.m. Friday in Toronto.
