Meth Trafficking Charges Filed Against 2 South Jersey Women: U.S. Attorney

The women regularly purchased methamphetamine from suppliers and conspired to distribute it throughout southern New Jersey, officials said.

CLEMENTON, NJ - Two South Jersey women admitted Thursday to trafficking methamphetamine into the region, federal officials said.

Sherri Craig, 42, of Clementon, and Shannon Foster, 27, of Egg Harbor City, pleaded guilty in Camden federal court to an indictment charging each with one count of conspiring to distribute five grams or more of methamphetamine, as well as 50 grams or more of a mixture containing a detectable amount of methamphetamine, U.S. Attorney Philip R. Sellinger said.

Craig and Foster regularly purchased the drugs from suppliers and conspired to distribute it throughout southern New Jersey, Sellinger said.

It was on Sept. 20, 2021, Craig and Foster went to a residence in Camden to purchase methamphetamine from a supplier and brought $3,000 with them to make the purchase.

The drug-trafficking conspiracy charge carries a mandatory minimum penalty of five years in prison, a maximum potential penalty of 40 years in prison, and a maximum fine of $5 million.

Sentencing is scheduled for Feb. 14, 2023.
