295 Crash Kills One, Injures Another Early Saturday
State Police say the accident is still under investigation.

The driver of a Corvette in a southbound lane of Route 295 barreled through a guardrail and into oncoming northbound traffic early Saturday morning, killing himself and causing a six-car pileup, New Jersey State Police said.
Another person was injured in the wreck and was taken to Cooper University Hospital in Camden, police said.

The accident happened shortly after 2:30 a.m. Saturday between the Woodcrest and Haddonfield-Berlin Road exits, according to broadcast reports. An eyewitness, a driver of one of the cars involved in the wreck, told NBC 10 Philadelphia he saw a dead body on the roadway after the accident.
Two other minor injuries were reported. Northbound I-295 was closed after the accident until just after 6:30 a.m. Saturday.
