3 Arrested in Cherry Hill Police Parking Lot
Police arrested two on warrants and a third for alleged marijuana possession.

Three alleged criminals couldn't have picked a worse spot to be Wednesday, when they were all arrested in the parking lot of the Cherry Hill Police Department on Mercer Street.
Officers checking the report of a suspicious car in the lot at 11:37 a.m. found two women wanted on warrants out of Camden and Gloucester counties, police said.
Marquesha Simmons, 24, of Camden, and Jamila Robinson, 20, of Washington Township, were both arrested; Simmons had warrants against her out of Woodbury, Gloucester Township and Camden, while Robinson had one warrant against her out of Westville.

About two hours later, Officer Ed Williams checked on another car parked along the treeline in the rear of the lot, where a Swedesboro resident indicated he was waiting for a friend who was in municipal court, police said.
But Zachary R. Bowen, 19, also had a partially-smoked joint sitting on the dash of the car, police said, and Williams arrested him for marijuana possession.
