The Cherry Hill Stealers started a late rally against Nashua, NH, in the third-place game at the Junior American Legion Northeast Regional Sunday, but ultimately fell short in a 10-2 loss.
After getting shut out for four innings with just one hit, Cherry Hill got a leadoff single from Brent Collins to spark some hope in the fifth, but the Stealers only got two back in the inning on Jake Thorndike's single and Ryan Stainrook's sacrifice fly.

Nashua used a relentless offense to score in all but two innings, cranking out 11 hits and taking advantage of three Cherry Hill errors, and rode a strong outing from pitcher Sam McCarthy, who struck out three.
