Cherry Hill Man Had Heroin at McDonald's, Police Say

William Roesberg was arrested Wednesday morning by Evesham detectives.

A Cherry Hill man who was spotted by undercover Evesham detectives behaving suspiciously in the McDonald's parking lot on Route 70 in Marlton was arrested and faces multiple drug charges, Evesham Township Police said.

William Roesberg, 21, tried to dump a baggie of heroin on to the floor of his car when officers approached him Wednesday morning, police said, and had other drugs and paraphernalia in the car with him.

A search of the car turned up Suboxone, a drug typically used to treat opioid dependence, in addition to the heroin, police said.

Roesberg was charged with third-degree possession of heroin, third-degree possession of Suboxone and a disorderly persons charge of possession of drug paraphernalia, and was released on his own recognizance.
