Cherry Hill Stealers Rained Out at Northeast Regional

Bad weather in Connecticut delayed the opening of the Junior American Legion Northeast Regional Friday, leaving the Cherry Hill Stealers to wait until Saturday morning to start their run at a title.

Cherry Hill will now face Fairfield, CT, in a 10 a.m. game Saturday at Rotary Field in South Windsor, CT.

The tournament will run out of two sites through the early afternoon; Legion officials didn't immediately release a full schedule for the rest of the tournament, which was originally scheduled to end Sunday.
