Man Dead, Woman In Critical Condition After Camden Shooting: Police
An early morning shooting Friday in Camden left a 65-year-old man dead and a 54-year-old woman in critical condition, authorities said.
CAMDEN, NJ - An early morning shooting Friday in Camden left a 65-year-old man dead and a 54-year-old woman in critical condition, authorities said.
While responding to a ShotSpotter activation for shots fired at 3:20 a.m., in the area of the 100 block of North 25th St. in Camden City, Camden police found two individuals suffering from gunshot wounds, Camden County Prosecutor Grace C. MacAulay and Camden County Police Chief Gabriel Rodriguez said in a joint statement.
A male victim, identified as 65-year-old Clint Leavy of Camden City, was transported to Cooper University Hospital and was pronounced dead at 3:30 a.m., MacAulay and Rodriguez said.

A 54-year-old female victim of Camden City, who was listed in critical condition, was also transported to Cooper University Hospital for a gunshot wound.
The investigation is active and ongoing.
