Monster Mania Con 25, Mountain Bike Clinic this Weekend

How's a weekend with Princess Leia sound?

Horror and sci-fi fans can get their fill starting Friday afternoon at Monster Mania Con 25, when Carrie Fisher—along with a host of other big names, including George Romero and Christopher Lloyd—comes to town for the summer edition of the convention, currently celebrating its 10th anniversary.

For people with a more outdoors bent, Cherry Hill is offering its continuing mountain bike skills clinic at the Kresson trails. Plan to bring a bike, a helmet and some water for the three-hour clinic, which kicks off at 9 a.m. Saturday.

Participants should RSVP for the free series online or at Keswick Cycle on Route 70.

And on Sunday, check out the Community Field Day at Cooper River Park—brush the rust off those sack-race chops and get over to the stadium starting at 11 a.m.
