CHERRY HILL, NJ — National Night Out is returning to Cherry Hill and moving to a new location.

This year's event — part of a national campaign to improve relationships between residents and law enforcement — takes place at Cherry Hill High School East. It will run from 6-8:30 p.m. Aug. 5.

National Night Out is an annual campaign designed to enhance police-community relations during a night of family fun. Thousands of communities celebrate it each year on the first Tuesday of August.

Cherry Hill's event will feature demonstrations, music, games, food and prizes.

Parking will be available in dedicated spots in front of Cherry Hill High School East. If they're full, take the shuttle from Congregation Kol Ami (1101 Springdale Rd.).

Street parking along Kresson Road or in surrounding neighborhoods will be prohibited.

Cherry Hill High School East is located at 1750 Kresson Rd.
