New Spot For Cheesesteaks, Smash Burgers Opens In Camden Co.

The restaurant's owner is carrying on his family's legacy in South Jersey dining through his latest venture.

PENNSAUKEN, NJ — A new spot for cheesesteaks, smash burgers and hand-spun milkshakes just opened in Pennsauken.

The Raging Bull offers some classic comforts with a few twists, including ribeye shaved fresh daily, fries cooked in 100 percent beef tallow, and house-brined and shaved chicken steak.

Owner Eric Adili is carrying on his family's legacy in South Jersey dining. He grew up working alongside his father at Palombo’s in Cinnaminson and later at The Fat Tomato in Berlin. Adili took over The Fat Tomato in 2018 when his father retired due to illness, continuing after his father's death in 2020.

Two years ago, Adili sold The Fat Tomato to start a new chapter. After a period running a meal-prep business, Adili realized he wanted to return to the kitchen.

"I’ve spent my entire life in this business, and this is where I belong," Adili said. "I wanted to create a South Jersey-born brand that people can be proud of, one that supports local businesses, values quality and feels like home for the community."
