East-West Football Rivalry a Go Wednesday Night
The 45th meeting between the two teams is on as scheduled.

With the storm predicted to move out and the rain to be largely over by kickoff at 6 p.m., school officials made the final call early Wednesday afternoon.
Temperatures should be in the 40s and falling through the game Wednesday night, and wind could be a factory in the rivalry this year, with a steady 18-mph northwest wind predicted through the evening.

With upwards of two inches of rain expected through the day Wednesday, it could also make for slick field conditions when the two teams meet.
