Road Work On Evesham Road In Cherry Hill Begins Oct. 25
The project will include the reconstruction of the road, the installation of handicap accessible ramps, and concrete curbs.

CHERRY HILL, NJ — Road improvements on Evesham Road through the municipalities of Magnolia, Lawnside, Somerdale, Cherry Hill Township and Voorhees Township begin the week of Oct. 25, Camden County officials announced on Friday.
It is expected to be completed by summer 2022, with work pausing for several months in the winter. The exact timing of the project is dependent upon weather and other factors.
The $2.4 million project will include the reconstruction of the roadway, the installation of handicap accessible ramps, concrete curbs, and new driveway aprons.

Through a shared services agreement with Cherry Hill Township, the traffic signal and pedestrian signal equipment at the intersection of Evesham and Burnt Mill Roads will be fully upgraded, county officials said.
The 1.1-mile project starts at the intersection of King Street east of the White Horse Pike and extends 500 feet past the intersection of Evesham and Burnt Mill roads.

“Improving our roadway infrastructure while increasing safety is one of the best investments we can make in our county,” Commissioner Al Dyer, liaison to the Camden County Department of Public Works, said. “Please use caution any time you are driving through a construction area and be aware of temporary directional signs or construction personnel.”
