Robber Struck Outside Hillside Inn, Police Say

A local resident faces charges in the Dec. 17 incident.

A Cherry Hill who allegedly robbed a man of his wallet outside the former Hillside Inn last month faces multiple charges from the incident, Cherry Hill Police said.

Michael Deluca, of the 900 block of Longwood Avenue, went after his victim in the motel’s parking lot along Route 38 on Dec. 17, grabbed the man and stole his wallet, police said.

Officers at the scene found Deluca nearby, police said, and after the victim identified him, Deluca was arrested.

He faces a charge of robbery as well as related offenses, police said.
