2 Trunk Or Treat Events In Cinnaminson This Halloween Season

CINNAMINSON, NJ — Cinnaminson will have multiple opportunities for trunk-or-treaters to get their Halloween haul this season.

The township will hold its Trunk or Treat event on Oct. 27, which will also include an outdoor movie at Memorial Park. One day later, Action Karate Cinnaminson will host its own Trunk or Treat.

Trunk-or-treating is pretty simple. Instead of going from home to home, children collect candy from vehicles that are often festively decorated. It's often regarded as a safer alternative to trick-or-treating and has grown in popularity around the nation in recent years.

Here's what to know about each event:

Cinnaminson Township Trunk or Treat and Movie in the Park

Oct. 27, 6-7:30 p.m., at the Memorial Park walking track

Trunk-or-treating is just the beginning. Afterward, the township will show "Haunted Mansion" — a 2023 Disney film based on the theme-park attraction of the same name. Festivities will also include music and prizes.

Trunk-or-treaters just need to show up in costume and be a Cinnaminson resident.

Setup will begin at 4 p.m. The rain date is Oct. 28.

Trunk or Treat at Action Karate

Oct. 28, 12 p.m., at Action Karate Cinnaminson (1703 Highland Ave.)

This event is open to the community — you do not need to be an Action Karate member.

Pre-registration for attendees is available here. Each family only needs to register once. And you could score a free shark tattoo and shark candy for you or your kids (availability is limited).

If you'd like to set up a trunk, register here. Those with trunks will be expected to arrive by 11 a.m., for full setup by 11:45 a.m.

The event will take place in the Action Karate parking lot — next to 7-Eleven and across from Lidl.
