Cinnaminson Chef Throwing Party—And You're Invited
SweetWater chef (and local celebrity) George Kyrtatas will host a viewing party for his episode of "Cutthroat Kitchen," featuring free apps and commentary.

Dinner in front of the TV is practically an American pastime these days. So why not enjoy it with a TV celebrity providing commentary?
SweetWater co-owner/chef George Kyrtatas is one of the contestants on Food Network's newest competitive cooking show, Cutthroat Kitchen. The show premiered last month, and the episode Kyrtatas appears in will air Sunday, Sept. 22.
To mark the occasion, Kyrtatas will host a viewing party at SweetWater, featuring a buffet of free appetizers, giveaways and drink specials. But perhaps most intriguing of all, the celebrity chef—who has racked up numerous television appearances—will provide commentary on the show, peeling the curtain back to reveal what ended up on the cutting room floor and other behind-the-scenes info.
For obvious reasons, he can't reveal what he made on the show, or who won, or really any other details. Kyrtatas did say, however, that the show was "a fantastic experience. The show is wild. It's got a lot of twists and turns. It's not a normal competitive culinary show."
The viewing party starts at 9 p.m., and the show airs at 10 p.m.
Kyrtatas also landed a season-long hosting gig on PBS' Cooking Odyssey this fall. The program, which just wrapped its second season, is a travel cooking show focused on Mediterranean/Greek fare, and is filmed on location in Greece.
Kyrtatas' season films this fall and could air as early as the beginning of next year.
