The festival, which features the township's tree and menorah lightings, has been pushed due to inclement weather in Sunday's forecast.

CINNAMINSON, NJ — Cinnaminson postponed its Holiday Festival because of inclement weather in Sunday's forecast.

The event was pushed to 5:30-7:30 p.m. Dec. 17 at Wood Park.

Cinnaminson's festival features the township's tree and menorah lightings, horse and carriage rides, a visit from Santa, and more.

Forecasters expect rain and potential thunderstorms in the area this Sunday — the festival's original date.

  • Saturday: Patchy fog before 10 a.m. Otherwise, mostly cloudy, with a high near 51. Calm wind becoming south around 5 mph in the morning.
  • Saturday night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 41. South wind around 5 mph.
  • Sunday: Rain, with thunderstorms also possible after 4 p.m. High near 63. Breezy, with a south wind 5 to 15 mph increasing to 15 to 25 mph in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 90 percent. New rainfall amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.
