Outdoor Concert Canceled With Thunderstorms, High Heat In Cinnaminson's Forecast

CINNAMINSON, NJ — Thursday evening's concert in Cinnaminson has been canceled because of forecasted inclement weather.

Cinnaminson's 2023 Summer Concert Series features shows each Thursday at 7 p.m. in Wood Park. The Big Bleu Band was set to perform July 27, but Mother Nature is a difficult opening act to top.

Several outdoor events around South Jersey have been canceled because of the heat wave, which forecasters expect to last into at least Saturday. Meanwhile, showers and thunderstorms are likely in Cinnaminson on Thursday evening, according to the National Weather Service.

• Thursday night: Showers and thunderstorms likely, mainly before 11 p.m. Mostly cloudy, then gradually becoming mostly clear, with a low around 76. Southwest wind 5 to 10 mph becoming light after midnight. Chance of precipitation is 60 percent. New rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.
• Friday: A chance of showers and thunderstorms after 2 p.m. Mostly sunny and hot, with a high near 99. Heat index values as high as 107. West wind 5 to 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30 percent. New rainfall amounts of less than a tenth of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.
• Friday night: A chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly before 8 p.m. Some of the storms could produce gusty winds and heavy rain. Partly cloudy, with a low around 78.
