Cinnaminson Popeyes Opens, New Tim Hortons Expected In Coming Weeks

CINNAMINSON, NJ — Two long-anticipated eateries are settling into Cinnaminson. The new Popeyes recently opened, while local officials expect Tim Hortons to do so soon.

It's been a long time coming for Cinnaminson, as township officials approved the development of both eateries for Route 130 in 2021.

The new Popeyes has arrived at 2701 Route 130. Tim Hortons, meanwhile, is "slated to open in the upcoming weeks," according to Committee Member Ryan Horner's report at Monday's Township Committee meeting.

"2023 has seen tremendous economic growth for Cinnaminson, and nowhere is that more evident than on our Route 130 corridor," student Jackson Lane said on Horner's behalf.

Local students delivered remarks on behalf of Cinnaminson officials at the meeting. Each year, students "run" a committee meeting as part of the township's "Youth in Government Day" in conjunction with Cinnaminson Township Public Schools.

Tim Hortons — a coffee-shop chain primarily based in Canada — is a rarity in New Jersey. The Garden State only has four Timmie's locations.

The Cinnaminson location will feature a 2,820-square-foot eatery with a drive-thru and outdoor seating area.

Cinnaminson's Popeyes consists of a 3,150-square-foot restaurant with a drive-thru.

Popeyes in Cinnaminson is open during the following times:

• Dine-in: 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. daily
• Drive-thru: Sunday through Wednesday from 10 a.m. to midnight, Thursday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 a.m.
