Cinnaminson Township Committee To Introduce Budget Monday Night
Cinnaminson Township Committee will introduce its proposed budget when it meets virtually Monday night.

CINNAMINSON, NJ — Cinnaminson Township Committee will introduce its proposed budget when it meets Monday night, 6:30 p.m. The meeting will be held virtually, and the township will post the meeting ID and password by noon Monday.
The proposed budget will be $16,419,053.84, up from the $15,867,247 budget that was approved last year. The amount to be raised by taxation would be $9,935,990.83, with 6,483,063.01 anticipated in revenues other than taxation, according to a copy of the proposal posted on the township’s website.

The public hearing and final vote on the proposed budget will take place at Township Committee’s May 17 meeting, 6:30 p.m.
Township Committee previously approved a proposed ordinance to exceed the municipal budget appropriation limits and establish a cap bank.

By approving the proposal, Township Committee allowed the township to increase its budget by 3.5 percent over last year's final appropriations and bank the excess as an appropriation.
The additional proposed increase amounts to 2.5 percent, or $328,287.78, according to information provided by Township Manager Eric Schubiger.

Township Committee will also introduce a proposed $1,495,000 bond ordinance to cover the cost of capital improvements. It will also introduce the proposed salary ordinance for 2021.
