Another Bruce Show Nixed: Cinnaminson Cancels Tribute Concert Amid Stormy Forecast

CINNAMINSON, NJ — Springsteen fans in the region can't catch a break. A Bruce Springsteen tribute band's concert in Cinnaminson has been canceled because of forecasted inclement weather.

Coincidentally, the cancelation comes days after The Boss postponed his Philadelphia shows because of illness.

Cinnaminson had an outdoor concert featuring Asbury Fever — a Springsteen/classic rock tribute band — set for Thursday evening. But Mother Nature has substituted "Thunder Road" with potential thunderstorms.

The township's summer concert series has one show remaining on this season's slate. Everyone But Neil's performance is set for 7 p.m. Aug. 31 at Wood Park.

Here's the National Weather Service's latest forecast for Cinnaminson:

• Thursday afternoon: A chance of showers, mainly after 5 p.m. Cloudy, with a high near 73. South wind around 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30 percent. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.
• Thursday night: A chance of showers, with thunderstorms also possible after 8 p.m. Cloudy, with a low around 68. South wind 5 to 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 50 percent. New rainfall amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.
• Friday: Showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm before 11 a.m., then a chance of showers and thunderstorms after 11 a.m. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 84. Southwest wind around 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60 percent. New rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.
• Friday night: A chance of showers and thunderstorms before 2 a.m. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 69. South wind around 5 mph becoming calm after midnight. Chance of precipitation is 30 percent. New rainfall amounts of less than a tenth of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.
