I-295 Reopens After Crash Jams Traffic In Burlington Co.

Update, 3:43 p.m.: All lanes on the highway have I-295. Only the ramp lane at Exit 47 in Burlington Township remains closed.

BURLINGTON TOWNSHIP, NJ — A crash is causing significant traffic jams Friday afternoon on Interstate 295 in Burlington County, officials said.

The crash happened around 2:30 p.m. on I-295 South at Exit 47 to Burlington-Mount Holly Road in Burlington Township, according to 511NJ traffic alerts.

Only one southbound lane is open as of 3:15 p.m. The ramp lane is also closed.
