HS Sports Kickoff, Free Concert Highlight Week Ahead
Did we miss something going on in Cinnaminson this week? Let us know.

The start of the school year is right around the corner. Case in point: The high school fall sports season begins this week, with practices scheduled for several sports, including football, soccer, field hockey, volleyball and more. Visit the Cinnaminson High School website for a full practice schedule.
Last week's free concert from the Cinnaminson High School Alumni Band sadly had to be moved inside on account of inclement weather. But this Thursday's forecast (high of 77 and mostly sunny) looks like perfect outdoor concert weather.
Assuming that doesn't change, head out Thursday night to catch a performance by High Noone Express, a country and pop band "with an enthusiastic South Jersey following." The concert begins at 7 p.m. at Wood Park.
If you're still looking for musical entertainment this week, buy your tickets now for an intimate acoustic performance by popular English rock/pop band The Lightyears. The band is performing for Circle of Friends in Riverton at 7:30 p.m. Saturday. The concert venue will be revealed after you've booked online. Tickets are $10.
Maybe you've been trying to get in shape—or stay in shape—but you're just really bored with your regular workout routine. If you're looking for something a little more fun (and maybe a little more ... childish?), stop by the Cinnaminson Library Monday night for a free hula hoop dance lesson.
