Longest Running Billy Joel Tribute Band Coming To Cinnaminson
The 52nd Street Band will kick off Cinnaminson's summer concert series this week at Wood Park.
CINNAMINSON, NJ — With a brighter outlook on the horizon this week, Cinnaminson will once again look to launch its Concert in the Park series for the summer.
52nd Street, billed as the world’s longest running Billy Joel Tribute Band, will perform at Wood Park at 7 p.m. Thursday night. The rain date is Sept. 2.
The 6-piece live concert show has been touring for more than 20 years, according to the band’s website. Pianist, singer and showman, Dan Vechesky (Danny V)leads a group of New York City-area musicians in recreating the music of the “Piano Man.” A sample of their music can be found below.

The show is set to come one week after the “Jimmy and the Parrots” concert scheduled for last week was postponed due to inclement weather. That concert was rescheduled for Aug. 26. Read more here: Tonight’s Concert In Cinnaminson Canceled Due To Weather
Although the National Weather Service projects thunderstorms each day leading up to the concert, Thursday’s forecast calls for sunny skies with a high of 90 during the day, and partly cloudy skies at night.
