M. Night Shyamalan Filming Portions Of Movie In South Jersey

The director said the movie will be his 15th feature.

BURLINGTON COUNTY, NJ — Portions of Director M. Night Shyamalan's latest movie are being shot in Burlington County, the director said on his Instagram page.

The movie is titled "Knock at the Cabin" and the cast includes Dave Bautista and Rupert Grint, according to Shyamalan. Filming is more than halfway done, the director added.

He described the movie as "an old school thriller" that is "very dark [and] emotional," adding "one take shook me up so much I had to walk away to collect myself."

Little else about the "Knock at the Cabin" plot has been revealed. The movie is expected to be released in February, according to IMDB.com.

Shyamalan is arguably best known for his work on movies such as "The Sixth Sense," "Unbreakable" and "Signs." Parts of at least one of his other films, "The Village," is said to have been recorded in New Jersey, according to NJ101.5.com.

He grew up in the Philadelphia suburbs and still lives there today, according to biography.com.
