Man Cleared of Suspicion, Gets Arrested: Police
Palmyra Police say the man was wanted on a number of outstanding warrants.

A case of mistaken identity led to a Penns Grove man's arrest in Palmyra last week.
Palmyra Police were assisting Riverton Police locating a shoplifter who had fled on foot from the CVS on Broad Street in Riverton Wednesday morning. A Palmyra officer located a man on the 900 block of Cinnaminson Avenue who fit the description of the shoplifter. A Riverton officer arrived and determined the man was not the CVS suspect.
However, central dispatch advised Palmyra officers that the man—26-year-old Kenneth Nelson, of Penns Grove—did have several outstanding warrants for his arrest: a no-bail warrant out of Salem County Sheriff’s Department for forgery; one from Camden City Court for $250; and another from Penns Grove Court for $450.
