Union Landing Rd. To Face Closures For Several Months In Cinnaminson

Sections of the roadway will be closed as a sidewalk gets installed. Here's what commuters should know as the project begins.

CINNAMINSON, NJ — Starting Wednesday, sections of Union Landing Road in Cinnaminson will be closed throughout the next few months as a sidewalk gets installed, officials told Patch.

The new sidewalk will run from Hunter's Farm to Route 130, completing a sidewalk on the eastbound side of Union Landing Road.

"The project is expected to be completed by the end of November, weather permitting," Township Administrator Eric Schubiger told Patch.

Work will begin "on or about" Wednesday and take place from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. on weekdays, according to a township advisory.

Eastbound traffic entering Union Landing Road from River Road/Broad Street will be impacted. The project won't affect westbound traffic entering from Route 130.

To begin, the eastbound side will be closed from the area just north of Hunter's Farm to Garry Road. This phase of the project is expected to take about two months, Schubiger said.

"Local traffic will be permitted from River Road/Broad Street to access Hunter's Farm, Sea Box, and other businesses and residences," the advisory says.

To reach businesses and homes north of Hunter's Farm, drivers should access Union Landing Road from Route 130.

Drivers should use Riverton Road or Taylors Lane to access Route 130 from River Road.

Routine traffic updates will be provided during the project, officials said.
