Motorcylist Airlifted After 2 Cars Strike Him In Burlington Co.: Police

The man is fighting for his life after the collision, authorities said.

BURLINGTON TOWNSHIP, NJ — A motorcyclist is in critical condition Wednesday after multiple vehicles struck him two days earlier in Burlington County, authorities said.

The crash happened just before 5:30 p.m. Monday on Route 130 in Burlington Township, police said.

The motorcyclist was riding northbound on Route 130 when a Volkswagon SUV struck him by Parker Avenue, authorities said. He was ejected into the southbound lanes, where a Honda Accord hit him, according to law enforcement.

Police identified the motorcycle rider as a 53-year-old man from Bristol, Pennsylvania. He was treated at the scene and then airlifted to Cooper University Hospital, where he's listed in critical condition as of early Wednesday afternoon.

Both drivers were unhurt. They remained at the scene and have been fully cooperating with investigators, police said.

It's unclear what caused the crash.
