One Dead In Monday Evening Crash On Tacony-Palmyra Bridge
One person was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash involving five cars, officials said.
PALMYRA, NJ — A Monday evening crash on the Tacony-Palmyra Bridge connecting Burlington County to Philadelphia left five people with varying injuries and one person dead, the Burlington County Prosecutor's Office said.
In a release, it was announced the crash happened around 6:49 p.m. and began when two cars were speeding in westbound lanes of the bridge, headed toward Philadelphia.
Investigators found one of the cars clipped another, sending it speeding into an eastbound lane. There, the car struck a Honda Civic, killing its driver.

All told, the crash involved five cars and left five people with injuries. Although all five people were taken to a hospital for treatment, officials say no other injuries were believed to be life-threatening. The name of the driver killed in the crash had not been released as of writing.
