Palmyra Police Investigate Garfield Avenue Break-In
Police say the burglar forced his way in through the kitchen window.
A burglar broke into a Garfield Avenue home and stole jewelry Thursday, according to Palmyra Police.
A resident of the 900 block of Garfield Avenue came home after running errands around 11:45 a.m. and found that her rear kitchen window was laying on the floor, police said. She also noticed several items on the counter had been moved.
The homeowner immediately grabbed her phone and went out front to call police, When they arrived, officers cleared the house. Several pieces of jewelry were missing.

Police said the burglary occurred between 10:30-11:45 a.m. Thursday.
