Here’s Why Brooke Was Shouted Out As a Cinnaminson Star Athlete

CINNAMINSON, NJ— We all know student athletes who also bring their A-game to other parts of their lives.

My student athlete is Brooke, a Senior of Cinnaminson NJ. Signed to play basketball at Kean University in Union NJ. Brooke will graduate from CHS w 11 Varsity letters (would’ve been 12 but LAX was cancelled one season for COVID). She’s been captain of her basketball & soccer teams. Named Basketball player of Year of So Jersey for her division, also 3 point finalist. Her dad had a regulation 1/2 court installed in their backyard for practice. Family works out at 5:30 am most mornings in Phila Pa.

Why do you believe the star student athlete should be recognized?

Brooke has worked very hard to become a valuable player. She works out in a Phila gym most mornings at 5:30 am and practices on regulation 1/2 basketball court her dad had installed in their backyard. As a young teen, her Jaguars team won National Nike title in Chicago Ill. She would’ve graduated w 12 varsity letters except COVID cancelled one season of LAX. She’s been captain of her Soccer & Basketball teams. Named So Jersey Basketball Player of the Year for Division as well as 3 point finalist! She’s a role model to her 3 younger sisters who play on a total of 12 teams!

What's one thing you want everyone to know about the star student athlete?

Brooke not only is a star athlete but is on the CHS Honor Roll! She’s set up a lemonade stand to raise funds for missionaries. She’s donated her hair to Locks of Life. She’s made blankets for cancer patients. She & her team sponsored a local cancer patient, Maddie with raising money with a car wash, snack sale and dedicating a game to her. She helps some elderly folks by raking their leaves. She referrees Flag Football games.
